Description
This splendid vase characteristic of the Han period holds its originality in its shape of a silkworm cocoon. Still bearing traces of clay, this funerary piece was buried to accompany the deceased. It has a fascinating design of interlacing clouds stylized by scrolls of orange, violet and white colors, as well as flamboyant red lines.
Condition report:
This work shows very good condition, despite a chip on the foot edge. The polychromy has also been extremely well preserved.
