Description

This superb jewel is very modern. Made of silver, it comes from South-East Asia in the mountains where the Miao, also called Hmong, Yao and Akha ethnic groups live. Its decoration is the result of hammering and chiselling. It presents some delicate floral motifs embellished with two symmetrical fishes in the centre of the jewel. The fish is the symbol of prosperity. Its extremities are spiral and allowed the passage of a chain to maintain and close the necklace.
