Tran dynasty (1225-1400)
D. 11,5 x 15 cm
A flat-bottomed stoneware vessel with a brown glaze on the outside and an ivory glaze on the inside.
This object is part of the production of stoneware in Vietnam, which often has a cracked appearance due to the lightness of its glaze. The fineness of these Vietnamese stoneware wares ensured their success with foreign customers at the time.
Provenance: Private collection.
