Description

Elegant ceramic with flared walls and rich molded decor. Simple and pure in shape, this conical bowl has, by contrast, an internal surface covered with various patterns adapted from the Chinese repertoire. Birds, clouds and lotuses gracefully decorate its interior walls and bottom, showing a keen interest in nature. Measuring 13 cm in diameter, this characteristic crackled ceramic is a fine example of the art of the Tran dynasty (1225-1400).
